DOK.fest Munich – Main Award goes to “Anny”

Helena Trestikova is a well-known filmmaker. For her film ANNY, the Czech writer and director accompanied her main protagonist for sixteen years. ANNY tells the story of a sex worker in Prague who is in search of happiness every day. In the category DOK.international ANNY wins as best film.

Helena Trestikova studied at the Prague Film School. She has already made more than 50 films and is presenting nine of her works at DOK.fest Munich this year.
