Book retailing records 30 percent drop in sales

The German book trade will see a drop in sales of around 30 percent in the first half of 2021 – in the retail book trade alone. The current figures were compared with the same period in 2019, which is catastrophic for the book industry considering that more than half of all books in Germany are still sold via bricks-and-mortar stores. For more infos click here.
