Organised by the u-institut für unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln e.V., 32 companies from the cultural and creative industries are awarded the title of Kreativpilot*innen (Creative Pilots) every year. In 2021, the focus of the award is on change and the opportunities that come with it. Not only creativity and flexibility, but also entrepreneurial personality are praised. The publication of the 2021 title holders states: “With their innovations, they set impulses that can lead us through technological and social change – for which an enormous amount of personal commitment, energetic will to change and entrepreneurial courage, as well as an open mind and good intuition are required.”
The Kreativpilot*innen are provided with an individually compiled mentoring programme for one year. This includes workshops, coaching and an introduction to the inotiv network. The aim is to support the development of new ideas and provide public recognition for award-winning creatives.
A digital awards event is expected to take place in early February 2022.
