SILBERSALZ is the first international science and media festival of its kind and takes place annually in Halle (Saale).
With its combination of public festival and conference program, SILBERSALZ brings science communication to life – and makes current research and media come alive for visitors in a vivid way. At the same time, it serves as a platform for their exchange and mutual inspiration.
The aim is to provide a broad public with access to scientific topics and issues and thus to promote a lively and active discussion of the significance of science in our society.
The program of SILBERSALZ is extensive and diverse and is aimed at all interested parties, whether young or old, layman or expert, science fan or skeptic.
