Music Pool Workshop: Awareness

Music Pool Workshop: Awareness

Organizer: all2gethernow e.V.

Awareness an Introduction – Let’s be the Change!

Whether in the underground, in a pub or at a festival: unfortunately, when people meet each other, assaultive, discriminatory behaviour occurs again and again – whether consciously or unconsciously. Racism, sexism, anti-Semitism – many things often go uncommented and unpunished, which leads to feelings of insecurity and fear in public spaces – especially for BiPoC, FLINTA+ and LGBTQIA+. Not only is there often a lack of awareness of what constitutes right/wrong behaviour, but many also feel unsure how to react if something happens.

Tutors: Mirca Lotz (LINK), Hannah Louve Benedum (LINK)

Target group: Organisers, artists, guests

Learning Goal: The workshop aims to help participants raise awareness of forms of discrimination and to provide them with strategies for action that will enable them to deal with and, in the best case, avoid assaultive/discriminatory behaviour.
