Organizer: Master School Drehbuch e.K.
Whether it’s a joke between TV comedians, a light-hearted repartee between lovers, or whimsical characters in bizarre constellations and comical situations – humor is not only needed in comedy formats or classic comedies, but is an important building block in all genres of storytelling.
It is therefore part of the basic craft of successful media workers – whether they are writers, editors, directors or other creative workers – to know: What’s funny? How do you build a punchline? And how do you create humor under time pressure?
Author and comedy coach Christian Eisert teaches tools and rules that enable anyone to write comedy professionally as well as to create comic impact in other genres.
In the two-day seminar, participants will learn the most important basics of humor theory. The structure and mechanics of oneliners (gags), sketches and staged comedy will be covered as well as time-saving methods for creative writing. Numerous exercises and real-world examples reinforce the new knowledge. Together we learn, develop, improve and laugh.
