Indie Game Fest

Launched in 2019, Indie Game Fest is a curated, annual event taking place in Cologne, Germany. The aim of the Indie Game Fest is to create a meeting and community for indie developers, designers, publishers, business partners, students and more in Germany and Europe! The aim is to help create visibility and opportunities for players, indie studios, publishers, business partners and more to present themselves and their work.
Research by the “game – Verband der deutschen Games-Branche” (Association of the German Games Industry) shows that indie games are popular because of their creativity and special style, but so far only under every second “gamer” has heard of indie games. This is exactly where the Indie Game Fest comes in and has set itself the task of creating more visibility for consumers and studios.
